Kitchen in Lomas de Chapultepec
Mexico City
This blue lacquered kitchen is conceived as a central, open, and luminous living space, where each element interacts with architectural precision and a sense of permanence.
The design revolves around a prominent island with a sintered stone countertop, a state-of-the-art material that combines beauty and technical resistance. Its continuous surface provides visual lightness while maintaining functional solidity.
The contrast between the warmth of the natural wood and the depth of the navy blue lacquered cabinetry creates a balanced, sophisticated, and contemporary atmosphere. By integrating panel-ready refrigerators and concealing the oven tower, a completely clean look is achieved, simulating a continuous wall and reinforcing the purity and visual order of the space.
The suspended lighting, with its sculptural lines that blend seamlessly into the architecture, accentuates the length of the island and transforms the space into a gathering place. The back wall, with its covering and backrest also made of sintered stone, offers material continuity and a neutral canvas that frames the work area, where every detail has been designed to prioritize ergonomics, durability and aesthetics.
